Based on Vilhelm Lauritzen’s VL 45 Radiohus Pendant, the VL 45 Portable can be used both indoors and outdoors, offering soft ambient light through its mouth-blown opal glass.
Originally designed in the 1940s for the Danish Broadcasting House, the lamp—once called “The Office Lamp”—became a design icon. It was even featured in the home of Charles Eames and Ray Eames in 1950s Los Angeles.
Today, the VL 45 retains its elegant look and functional lighting, fitting seamlessly into modern interiors.
