PH 80 Table Lamp

The PH 80 was introduced in 1974 as a tribute to Poul Henningsen on what would have been his 80th birthday, and forms part of his well-known PH series, developed around the principle of glare-free lighting through a multi-shade system; originally designed as both a table and floor lamp, it reflects Henningsen’s approach to combining function and aesthetics, providing soft, indirect light that is warm and evenly diffused, making the PH 80 Table Lamp suitable for a wide range of settings, from private homes to professional environments.
 
Light concept
 
 
The fixture emits a diffused, reflected, symmetrical light. The majority of the light is directed downward. The opal acrylic shades provide comfortable room lighting. On the orginal fixture, the red hue of the top reflector adds an intense, warm glow to the light. The white version has a white top reflector that reflects the light for a clean, elegant look. The choice of light source will determine the color of the illumination.
