Aurora Table Lamp

Aurora draws inspiration from Barovier&Toso’s historic Venetian archive, reinterpreting the traditional oil lamp through a contemporary lens. Its form preserves the memory of domestic light, translating it into an essential and timeless gesture in which form and function seamlessly converge.
In place of oil and wick, an advanced lighting system is discreetly integrated into the structure, providing a calibrated and enveloping glow. The technology remains invisible, allowing the continuity of the design and the richness of the material to take centre stage.
The coloured glass base is created using a precisely ribbed mould with sixteen facets, then mouth-blown to form a solid and vibrant structure. The transparent diffusers feature an exceptionally fine twisted rigadin pattern, creating dynamic optical effects and a sense of luminous depth.
Light travels through the glass surfaces, filtered and reflected to create a layered and nuanced visual experience. The result is a refined dialogue between memory and innovation, in which light becomes a continuous and natural presence, gently accompanying the surrounding space.
