PH 5 Mini Pendant

The PH 5 Mini emits glare-free, downward-directed light while softly illuminating its own structure, creating a warm and balanced glow.
Originally designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958, the PH 5 was developed to ensure consistent, comfortable lighting regardless of changes in bulb design. Its multi-shade system, based on the logarithmic spiral, distributes light evenly while reducing glare and shadow.
Introduced in 2017, the PH 5 Mini is a scaled-down version with a 30 cm top shade, faithful to the original design. The later Monochrome series adds a contemporary expression with matte finishes in black, white, and ultra blue.
 
Light concept
 
The fixture provides 100% glare-free light. Its design is based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, which directs majority of the light downwards. The fixture emits both downward and lateral light, thus illuminating itself.
