PH 2/1 Table Lamp

The PH 2/1 Table provides soft, comfortable lighting through its mouth-blown, three-layer white opal glass shades, which primarily direct light downward while also gently illuminating the surroundings.
Designed by Poul Henningsen, the lamp is based on his iconic three-shade system from 1925, developed with Louis Poulsen. Rooted in a scientific approach using the logarithmic spiral, the design ensures even light distribution while reducing glare and shadows.
The PH numbering system reflects shade size. The PH 2/1 Table features a top shade of approximately 20 cm combined with smaller lower shades from the 1/1 model, creating a balanced and elegant lighting solution.

The fixture provides soft lighting. PH 2/1 is designed on the principle of a reflecting multi-shade system, creating harmonious and glare-free lighting. The shade design is based on a logarithmic spiral, with the centre of the light source placed in the spiral’s focal point.
