PH 1/1 Portable Lamp

Poul Henningsen’s pursuit of glare-free illumination, precisely directed light and soft shadows led to the development of the System PH in 1926. Guided by the logarithmic spiral, his mathematical approach to lighting resulted in a celebrated collection of hundreds of designs, spanning table lamps, floor lamps, pendants, chandeliers and wall lamps.
The PH 1/1 Portable Lamp brings this iconic lighting philosophy into a cordless format. As the smallest shade set within the System PH, it features a compact ‘whole size’ design with a top shade of approximately 10 cm and proportions of 3:2:1 across its three shades.
Designed to minimise glare and create a warm, comfortable ambience, the PH 1/1 Portable Lamp offers exceptional versatility, both indoors and outdoors. Its cordless design makes it ideal for spaces without convenient access to mains electricity, from bookshelves and side tables to outdoor settings.
