Crafted from a bio-based wood composite, the lamp has a tactile, organic feel and emits a soft, warm glow. Part of Hyfer Objects' first lighting collection, the Kakta Lamp is crafted in Sweden using regenerative bio-derived and recycled materials. Every component is designed to be replaceable and fully recyclable, offering a more sustainable approach to contemporary lighting.

Materials:

Kakta Linen is made of PLA from bio-based materials and consists of 40% wood scrap fibers from the Swedish forest industry. Due to the fact that the material is made from wood waste, the composition of wood chips and bark may vary between batches. As a result, the shade of the Kakta Linen may vary over time. The material is made from renewable resources, and can be recycled into new material.

Kakta Vanilla is made of recycled PLA from bio-based materials and consists of 10% cellulose fibers. This material is made from renewable resources, and can be recycled into new material.

The base is made of steel deriving from industrial side streams. When using repurposed steel we save up to 90-95% emissions and energy use compared to virgin steel production and 60-70% compared to recycled steel that has gone through melting processes.

Because our products are 3D-printed using recycled and bio-based materials, variations in color and texture are natural. These differences make each piece truly unique.

The material is recyclable, which means that when your lamp eventually reaches its end of life, new material can be made from the old product and parts can be exchanged. Please do not discard your Hyfer Objects product, instead get in touch with us on info@unacasainterior.com

Care Guide:

Wipe with a clean, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid placing in a window with direct sunlight as the material can be sensitive to strong UV light. Made for indoor use.
