A contemporary interpretation of traditional folk textiles, Porcelain Tapestry No. 07 is defined by a delicate floral motif in muted shades of dusty blue, blush and ochre, set against a warm ivory ground.
Meticulously handwoven by skilled artisans, the tapestry is finished with hand-knotted linen fringes, bringing depth, texture and an understated sense of luxury. The softly faded palette and intricate pattern evoke the character of time-honoured textiles, while the considered composition gives the piece a distinctly contemporary presence.
Designed as a decorative textile artwork, Porcelain Tapestry No. 07 adds warmth and quiet character to an interior, whether displayed as a statement piece or layered within a curated collection.
The tapestry was created as part of a unique collaboration with Relief Gallery for Ómós, the luxury Irish boutique hotel, bringing together heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary design.

The piece is hung using Sheesham wood planks, inserted in pockets on the flat weaved backing. Sheesham, one of the most durable and sustainable woods, is a native to India, where the tapestries are handcrafted.
