PH 80 Portable Lamp
The PH 80 was originally introduced in 1974 as both a table and floor lamp, created in tribute to Poul Henningsen on what would have been his 80th birthday. One of Denmark’s most influential designers, Henningsen is especially renowned for his pioneering work with lighting.
Part of the iconic PH series, the design follows Henningsen’s principle of glare-free illumination through a carefully considered multi-shade system. This approach ensures soft, balanced light and a comfortable visual experience.
The PH 80 Portable Lamp carries this legacy forward, combining functionality with timeless aesthetics. It emits a warm, diffuse glow, making it well suited for both private homes and professional environments.
Light concept
The fixture emits a diffused, reflected, symmetrical light. The majority of the light is directed downward. The opal acrylic shades provide comfortable room lighting. On the orginal fixture, the red hue of the top reflector adds an intense, warm glow to the light. The white version has a white top reflector that reflects the light for a clean, elegant look. The choice of light source will determine the color of the illumination.

Additional cardboard material comes from FSC approved sources.
