Hand Hoe 12 cm right-handed

The Classic Hand Hoe is a versatile tool for weeding, thinning plants and loosening soil. The sharp blade makes light work of weeds and surface cultivation, while its angled design provides a natural and comfortable grip when working close to the ground.

Description:

The Dutch name for this tool is “Schrepel”, which is a word in a dialect from a southern province in the Netherlands called Zeeland. Schrepel means skinny or thin, which is a reference to the long, thin neck that connects the blade to the handle. The hand hoe is a classic Dutch tool that was developed in the 19th century for the labor intensive work of thinning out sugar beets. The hand hoe has an asymmetric shape to improve the precision and is similar in function to the halfmoon pull hoe. The hand hoe is available in a left and right variant and with a cherry or ash handle. The sizes of the blade range from 8 to 14cm.
