Designed by Gae Aulenti in 1965 for Martinelli Luce, PIPISTRELLO is an iconic lamp that combines sculptural elegance with innovative design. Available as both a table and floor lamp, it features an adjustable height thanks to its glazed stainless-steel telescopic stem.
The distinctive white opal methacrylate diffuser, revolutionary for its time, unfolds above a tapered aluminium base in a form reminiscent of a bat’s wings. Emitting a soft, diffused light, PIPISTRELLO brings character and sophistication to any interior, remaining a celebrated symbol of timeless Italian design.
