Samsas chair

Designed by Carl Malmsten in 1960, the Samsas Chair is one of the designer’s most celebrated armchairs. It evolved from the earlier Konsert chair, created in 1923 for Stockholm Concert Hall, and quickly became a Swedish design classic.
Still produced at the O.H. Sjögren family workshop in Tranås, the Samsas remains true to its original character while being refined for contemporary interiors. This edition features a sprung seat and is available with legs in Fumed Oak or Walnut, with a wide selection of upholstery fabrics to choose from.
The Samsas Chair can also be paired with the Samsas Rund sofa to create a cohesive and inviting seating arrangement.
