Olori
Named after the Yoruba word for “Queen”, Olori embodies a sense of authority, identity and presence, translated into an essential and immediately recognisable form.
Inspired by traditional Nigerian jewellery, the design transforms the neck into a space of belonging and representation. Spiralling and overlapping elements create a distinctive visual and tactile rhythm, balancing richness and lightness with remarkable precision. Its hourglass silhouette is defined by a broad, grounded base and a crown-like upper structure, formed by a rhythmic sequence of layered elements that envelop the profile with continuity and grace.
Crafted using the opalino technique and enriched with delicate gold leaf, Olori captures and reflects light with exceptional warmth and depth. A series of satin-finished beads references the historic Murano tradition of conterie, seamlessly woven into the contemporary design.
Balancing cultural heritage with a distinctly modern language, Olori is a sculptural statement of quiet strength and presence—an object that carries its history while asserting its own identity within the space.
