Christian Sorensen Sampo Chair Maple

This distinctive design originated in the workshop of little-known Copenhagen upholsterer Christian Sorensen in the early 1940s. Its flowing, organic silhouette is characteristic of early Danish Modern armchairs, yet retains a strikingly contemporary appeal.
This new edition faithfully captures the spirit of the original, combining sculptural aesthetics with exceptional comfort in equal measure.

Materials and Production:
Solid beech wood frame constructed using traditional joinery methods. Upholstered in genuine sheepskin or fabric with foam padding, fully sprung seat and back. European Oak or American walnut feet.
