Spade with steps
The spade brings heritage and craftsmanship to the garden in equal measure. Whether turning over an allotment, vegetable patch or ornamental border, this is a spade built to perform.
Hand-forged to a design developed almost a century ago for Dutch gardeners in West Friesland, it combines a solid ash wood handle with a durable stainless steel blade.
Designed primarily for digging and transplanting in heavy soils, the blade is sharpened along its lower edge, allowing the spade to penetrate the ground with ease.
Description:
The blade of the spade is curved on the long side to give it strength and to prevent fracturing the blade while digging. Furthermore, the angle at which the blade is attached to handle is specifically determined to make working with the spade more comfortable. Because of the shape and angle of the blade, the spade is very well suited for digging in the ground but less for scooping or shoveling loose material. The spade is available in multiple shapes and sizes and is delivered with an ash wood handle of varied sizes. Finally, there is an option to record without steps.
