Arnold Madsen Clam Chair Sheepskin Maple

Arnold Madsen Clam Chair Sheepskin Maple

Designed in Copenhagen in 1944 by Danish upholsterer Arnold Madsen, the Clam Chair — or Muslingstol in Danish — is celebrated for its distinctive, sculptural form and its place within the Danish Modern movement.

In 1945, Madsen founded Madsen & Schubell with cabinetmaker Henry Schubell to produce the design. More than 80 years later, Dagmar proudly reintroduces this iconic chair in collaboration with the estate of Arnold Madsen.

Combining traditional joinery techniques with modern technology, the new edition remains true to Madsen’s original vision while meeting contemporary standards of craftsmanship and quality.
